Miniature of Life

Interestingly enough, I seem to lose my zeal in writing when I am here in Sydney. It may also be an indication that I didn't spend much time in reflecting on my life as a whole.

The beginning of January is a very sad period of my journey up till now. Many of my friends left Sydney and continued with their journey. You may ask, "You only know them for several weeks, how sad can it be?" But man, I tell you, it is really sad.

Isn't it just like a miniature of life? People come people go. We are never sure of how long we'll be accompanied. Instead of lamenting upon separation which is unfortunately inevitable, a more practical thing to do is to 把握今日(Seize the day), as the tattoo on a foreigner's shank said.

Talking about reflection, Master daVanci, sometimes it is only after the journey is over that we could possibly access the process from a perspective not available while we're still in the midst of it.

It's OK, there's a time to think, and a time just to live...

Yeah... What else can you say? But looking back on this entry again, isn't it a very serious and in-depth reflection on life in itself? Keke...
